Barbara B. Wagner

Barbara  B. Wagner, of counsel with Haliczer Pettis & Schwamm and a partner of Wagenheim & Wagner, focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and appellate matters. She is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Workers’ Compensation and Appellate Practice.

Barbara has received Martindale-Hubbell’s top “AV” rating for her high professional and ethical standards. She graduated cum laude from Bucknell University, in Lewisburg, PA, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and graduated summa cum laude, first in her class, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She has been named to the Florida “Super Lawyers” list every year since 2008.

Barbara is admitted to The Florida Bar (1982) and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Her professional affiliations include serving as a member of the National Football League and Professional Hockey Players’ Association panels of workers’ compensation attorneys and as a member of the board of directors and chair of the Amicus Committee of Florida Workers’ Advocates. She is on the board of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Broward County Bar Association and is a member of the Broward County Women Lawyers’ Association.

Barbara has given presentations regarding workers’ compensation and appellate practice at conferences and seminars sponsored by The Florida Bar, Broward County Bar Association, Florida Workers’ Advocates, and the Sports Lawyers’ Association.

Her community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors, on the Development Committee, and as a volunteer for the PACE Center for Girls. She also has volunteered as a mentor with Take Stock in Children, in Broward County.
