Trisha S. Widowfield Becomes Partner at Haliczer Pettis & Schwamm

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL January 26, 2016 – Haliczer Pettis & Schwamm is pleased to announce that Trisha S. Widowfield has been admitted as partner at Haliczer Pettis & Schwamm, P.A..

Ms. Widowfield handles complex civil litigation, focusing her practice in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury representing many major corporations.  Ms. Widowfield has been with Haliczer, Pettis, & Schwamm. P.A. since 2005, first as a law clerk and then as an associate.  Prior to attending law school, Ms. Widowfield was a claims adjuster for USAA and Gallagher Bassett.

Ms. Widowfield graduated cum laude in 2007 from the University of Miami School of Law in Miami, Florida and cum laude in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology/sociology from Kent State University in Kent, OH.

Ms. Widowfield is admitted to The Florida Bar as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida.  She is the co-chair of the Leadership Committee for Miami-Dade FAWL. Her other professional affiliations include membership in the Broward County Bar Association, Broward County FAWL, Miami-Dade FAWL, Dade County Bar Association, and Miami Law Young Alumni.
