Michael M. Riedhammer, a partner with Haliczer Pettis & Schwamm, focuses his practice in the area of workers’ compensation, personal injury and insurance litigation. He is designated by The Florida Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in workers’ compensation, a designation assigned to less than 1% of its members. He served two terms on the Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation Rules Advisory Committee at the appointment of the President of the Florida Bar.

He received his bachelor’s degrees in criminology and political science in 1995 from the University of South Florida, in Tampa, FL, and a law degree in 1998 from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Mr. Riedhammer is a member of the Broward County Bar Association and is admitted to The Florida Bar (1998). He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Circuit Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. He routinely appears before the state Judges of Compensation Claims in workers’ compensation matters through final merits hearings.  He also handles matters before civil court judges through jury verdicts and final judgment.
