Patrick W. Zalman, an associate with the firm, focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, civil rights, employment litigation, and business litigation.

Patrick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and History from Florida State University in 2005. He went on to become a Broward County schoolteacher and taught Broward’s youth from 2006 to 2010.  Patrick chose to continue his formal education and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2013. While attending law school, he earned a spot on the Dean’s List for three consecutive years in addition to earning the Dean’s Certificate of Professionalism and the Pro Bono Service Award. He was also a recipient of the Glantzlaw Professionalism Endowment and served as Project Editor and Junior Associate of Nova Law Review while obtaining his law degree.

Prior to joining the firm, Patrick worked as an associate attorney at several multi-state law firms focusing on personal injury, professional liability and general commercial litigation. He also worked as a law clerk during law school, at Haliczer, Pettis, & Schwamm and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Marina Garcia-Wood of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.

In addition to Florida’s state courts, Patrick Zalman is also admitted to practice before the Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida. His other professional affiliations include membership in the Broward County Bar Association and Palm Beach County Bar Association.
