Debra Potter Klauber is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office. Debbie collaborates with trial counsel and our medical experts on strategic issues, conducts extensive research and prepares complex motions throughout the litigation and in preparation for trial. She also handles all interlocutory and final appeals throughout the state. Debbie also serves as the firm’s in-house resource on the latest legal developments, providing ongoing updates on significant or noteworthy decisions in the state and federal courts.

Debbie is the author of the column “Case Law Update,” published by the Broward County Bar Association’s Barrister magazine. Her column reports on notable case and trial trends throughout Florida. Due to the depth of her expertise, Debbie also provides in-house presentations on legal issues relating to expert witnesses, litigation strategies and the benefits of trial support, including presentations to medical students and residents on the legal issues they are likely to encounter in their practice.

Debbie is an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, teaching Medical Malpractice to second- and third-year law students.
